Test Software Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design, development, debugging, optimization, and maintenance of test equipment software systems;
2. Develop software modules for the test equipment to implement its functions, such as path planning, data acquisition, and data analysis.
3. Participate in the development of functional modules for the test equipment system software; based on the product’s characteristics and specific requirements in particular application scenarios, conduct research on the system software’s functions and components, identify optimization opportunities, and implement these improvements into the product.
4. Based on the project’s quality objectives and testing procedures, develop a test plan, design and implement test scripts, and execute interface testing, integration testing (including performance, stability, and stress testing), regression testing, and other related tasks.
5. Evaluate software testing plans for new products and newly added features to enhance product productivity and quality.
6. Responsible for integration and system testing of test equipment software, including software quality testing, software performance testing, and software security testing, among others.
7. Complete software simulation and test validation to ensure the stability and reliability of software functionality.
8. In accordance with company requirements, develop the overall software development plan and a detailed task breakdown schedule; assist sales and technical service personnel in resolving customer issues and provide necessary technical support.
9. Responsible for preparing technical documentation, design documents, code documentation, and other related materials, ensuring their completeness and compliance with established standards; ensures timely organization and archiving of documentation for assigned tasks in accordance with company policies; and establishes a standardized resource library for selecting R&D testing equipment.
10. Safeguard the company’s core interests, submit work reports on time, and complete other tasks assigned by company management.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of experience in the R&D and programming of testing and assembly equipment; associate degree or higher; candidates with a background in management, mechanical engineering, automation, or other related engineering disciplines will be given priority.
2. Proficient in the LabVIEW programming language, capable of independently designing program architectures and writing code, with strong coding practices and adherence to coding standards; familiar with common interface protocols such as RS‑232, RS‑485, TCP/IP, and USB, and possessing practical experience in developing communication interfaces with third-party instruments and devices.
3. At least 2 years of relevant work experience; candidates with project experience in test equipment software development, control system development, or industrial automation software development are preferred.
4. Understand the fundamental principles and operations of databases, such as SQL Server and MySQL, and be capable of storing, querying, and managing data.
5. Understand the application and programming of common electronic test instruments, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and data acquisition cards, and be able to establish effective interfaces and communication with hardware devices.

6. Strong adaptability to diverse environments and excellent execution skills; able to accommodate both regular and short-term business travel assignments.
