Head of Mechanical R&D

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for mechanical design, product development, project planning, and implementation;
2. Lead the team in conducting detailed design, ensuring both design quality and adherence to the project schedule;
3. Provide guidance on prototype assembly and commissioning, offer technical support, and optimize existing equipment.
4. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the company’s standardized library of mechanical and electrical component selection criteria required for production line equipment.
5. Prepare and archive technical documentation, design specifications, and other related materials; produce complete, standardized BOMs and engineering documents.
6. Safeguard the company’s core interests, submit work reports on time, and complete other tasks assigned by company leadership.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above; candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related fields are preferred.
2. 3–5+ years of experience in mechanical design or a related field; candidates with experience in large-scale project development are preferred.
3. Proficient in mechanical design software (such as SolidWorks, CAD, Creo, etc.); familiar with machining processes, material selection, surface treatments, and other related topics; possesses expertise in thermal simulation, structural analysis, and other types of simulation.
5. Possesses strong teamwork, communication, and stress-management skills;
6. Possesses a strong sense of innovation and market insight, and is capable of introducing new technologies and processes.
