Adhesive Application Software Development Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design, development, debugging, optimization, and maintenance of the adhesive‑coating software system, including upgrades to both standard features and customer‑specific customizations.
2. Develop a glue‑application software module to implement the functions of the glue‑applying system, such as path planning, adhesive‑quantity control, and speed control.
3. Participate in the development of functional modules for the adhesive‑coating system software; based on the characteristics of the coating products and the specific requirements of particular application scenarios, conduct research on the software’s functions and components, identify optimization opportunities, and implement these improvements into the product.
4. Responsible for the development and optimization of core algorithms, including glue‑application control algorithms and path‑planning algorithms.
5. Optimize the adhesive‑coating software algorithm, develop standardized control programs, and enhance coating performance.
6. Participate in the integration of the adhesive application system to ensure seamless collaboration among software modules and hardware components.
7. Complete software simulation and test validation to ensure the stability and reliability of software functionality.
8. In accordance with company requirements, develop the overall software development plan and a detailed task breakdown plan.
9. Assist sales and technical service personnel in resolving customer issues and provide necessary technical support.
10. Responsible for preparing technical documentation, design documents, code documentation, and other related materials, ensuring their completeness and compliance with established standards; also responsible for promptly organizing and archiving all assigned tasks in accordance with applicable procedures.
11. Safeguard the company’s core interests, submit work reports on time, and complete other tasks assigned by company leadership.

Qualifications:

1. Candidates should have 2–3 years or more of relevant work experience; preference will be given to those with project experience in adhesive‑dispensing software development, control system development, or industrial automation software development. A college degree or higher is required, with priority consideration for applicants holding a background in management or engineering disciplines such as mechanical automation.
2. Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, and familiar with development environments like Visual Studio and Qt.
3. Development Tools and Environment: Familiarity with the Linux operating system; proficiency in developing with ROS (Robot Operating System) or a similar platform.
4. Algorithms and Data Structures: Proficient in common data structures and algorithms, with a solid understanding of glue‑dispensing technologies such as adhesive application control and path planning.
5. Communication Protocols: Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, CANopen, and MODBUS.
6. Embraces the company’s corporate culture and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility; hardworking, resilient, and down-to-earth.
7. Strong adaptability to diverse environments and excellent execution skills; able to accommodate both regular and short-term business travel assignments.
