　　Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

　　1. MES can track and manage production activities from order initiation through to product completion, providing data to optimize manufacturing processes.

　　2. MES reports the latest on-site production information to field personnel or managers, enabling timely adjustments to production conditions, reducing non-value‑adding elements, and optimizing production processes and functions.

　　3. MES can provide functions such as tracking, monitoring, control, and analysis for cost overruns and quality issues that are not covered by ERP systems.

　　4. Database management of work-in-process (WIP), production materials, resource inventory, equipment details and current status, quality‑related materials, and other relevant information; on this basis, many types of information are standardized and formalized.

　　5. The MES system performs information monitoring of process operations, equipment, and quality; conducts real-time data collection and statistical analysis; manages warehouse operations; and integrates and centrally controls all production‑site‑related information, including work‑in‑process (WIP) management, material input management, human resource management, and administrative management.

　　6. MES control devices, PLCs, POPs, and the like can manage both the control system and its interface; above them lie standalone planning systems or ERP systems and their interfaces, enabling integrated control that spans from resource management all the way down to the lowest-level production equipment.
