　　The diesel engine assembly line is designed to meet the high‑intensity, high‑reliability assembly requirements of medium‑ and heavy‑duty diesel engines. Its architecture follows the same principles as the gasoline engine assembly line, incorporating workstation fixtures and in‑line tools for interior assembly, exterior assembly, testing, and cylinder head operations. The line employs a fieldbus control system that uses distributed I/O to centrally manage its operation and facilitate communication between workstations, while also supporting an on‑site information monitoring system for data acquisition, production scheduling, workstation supervision, and assembly guidance. In response to the specific characteristics of diesel engines, the tightening module can handle high‑torque fastening tasks such as cylinder heads, oil pans, and lower engine blocks; the press‑fitting module accommodates heavy‑duty pressing applications like oil seals and gears; and the adhesive‑application module is equipped with a darkroom to eliminate the influence of ambient light on visual inspection, thereby ensuring the precision and quality of medium‑ and heavy‑duty engine assembly.
